Originally, the Selva Romantica collection of condos was planned as only studio suites and two-bedroom units exactly twice the size of the studios, using the same "footprint". However, the developer of Selva responded to multiple requests that "in between" size units be made available in the final buildings. These condos were bought up almost immediately, mostly by existing owners who wanted to expand their holdings in this most-desirable development. Some are full-year residences for their owners. Others become available for guests, as the owner's schedules allow. When you see the individual condos, you will understand why these units were in such high demand..
Being built in the final phase, this gave the developer the opportunity to "fine-tune" the original floorplans and elevations. The owners, most of who were now experienced with decorating their first units, spared no expense in outfitting their new homes with luxurious furnishings such as stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and high-quality linens throughout. Each unit is unique, however, in that they reflect the taste and personality of the individual owners. These units offer a private bedroom with master bath, an expansive living/dining area, a second guest bath complete with shower, and a utility room with washer/dryer. Some offer an open terrace, others are enclosed with large, fully opening windows to catch every breeze.
These units do not offer an ocean view. The Pelicanos building face the verdant mountains to the east, with a bit of city view, depending on the unit. Los Mangos angles a bit more to the north for an expansive city/mountain view. Both buildings offer quick access to the common area with infinity pool, gym and spa tub (that do have an ocean view) and also to the Old Town section of Puerto Vallarta. Basilio Badillo - restaurant row - lies only a few steps away and offers shopping, dining and entertainment.
